Your family's privacy

The plain-language version of what this app keeps, who can see it, and how to remove it. The app is in early testing, and we'll update this page as it grows.

What the app stores

  • Parents' email addresses and passwords (passwords are encrypted; nobody can read them).
  • Kids' first names and, for kids without email, the username a parent created. Birth month and year only if a parent adds them.
  • What your family enters: jobs, chores, money records, photos and notes sent as proof, feelings check-ins, needs, encouragement notes and special-time picks.

Who can see it

  • Only the people in your family. Other families can never see your family's information.
  • The one exception is the parents-only Community board: anything you choose to post there is visible to other parents, with your first name and family name. Kids can't see the Community board.
  • Inside a family, parents can see their kids' activity. Kids see their own jobs, money and notes.
  • The Dr. Meesh team only looks at your data to fix a problem or when you ask us to. Feedback you send with the Feedback button comes straight to us.

What we never do

  • We don't sell your information or share it with advertisers. There are no ads.
  • We don't move real money. The app is a tracker, not a bank, so there are no bank or card details in it.
  • We don't send your kids emails or marketing.

Phone notifications

  • Notifications are off until you turn them on for your device, and you can turn them off at any time in your phone's settings.

Kids' accounts

  • Parents create and manage their kids' accounts. Kids don't need an email address.
  • Parents can reset a kid's password or remove someone from the family under Family, behind the round button at the top of the app.

Deleting your information

  • To delete your family's account and everything in it, send a request with the Feedback button in the app or reach us through drmeesh.com. We'll confirm when it's done.

Where it's kept

  • Your information is stored with Supabase, a secure database provider, and protected so each family can only reach its own data. The app is hosted by Lovable.
